blaugelb is taking over as the umbrella brand

For over 20 years now, the own brand blaugelb from the Meesenburg Group has been a successful actor on the German and the international market and has built up an honest reputation as a partner for customers and suppliers over the years. After all this time, there will now be a few changes concerning the own brand blaugelb.

When the brand blaugelb registered its trademark 20 years ago, nobody could have known where this journey would take us.  Starting as purely a trademark, blaugelb has developed into a system provider with ground-breaking products in the industry. With the opening of our “Made to Measure” manufacturing centre in which well over 6,000 articles are currently custom made, blaugelb has taken the next step.

The topic of sustainability is also of interest to the Meesenburg Group, and blaugelb in particular. Based on the many products that are already available today for sustainable construction, the various specifications from institutes and tenders, as well as the desire to make a difference, the new blaugelb nachhaltig brand was created as an ambassador brand. “It is important to us that this isn’t just a product label, but that we really want to reach people directly with the brand,” explains Wolf Speth, Head of Marketing blaugelb. “The ambassador brand blaugelb nachhaltig wants to raise awareness among people and the industry for sustainable topics, offer explanations and support and help others find their way in the sustainability jungle.”

With the introduction of this new brand under the blaugelb umbrella, the following step is now essentially inevitable:
blaugelb is taking over as the umbrella brand and in future will be home to the brands blaugelb – the customer brand, Made to Measure and the ambassador brand discussed above, blaugelb nachhaltig, in its brand network.

The new umbrella brand will be immediately brought to the forefront of the company's public image so that marketing measures for the individual sub-brands can be bundled and the affiliation is apparent at first glance.

“This step is also changing a lot for us,” continues Wolf Speth. “In the future we can approach customers in a more targeted and clear manner, we can better represent our portfolio and we can also support our customers more quickly and effectively with our solutions thanks to the redesigned website.”
