blaugelb Frame Extension PVC/TK

The blaugelb Frame Extension PVC/TK 30 dB with sound and thermal insulation properties was specially developed for installation as an extension of the frame on windows and doors made of plastic for renovation as well as new construction. It consists of a layer structure with a core made of engineering-grade plastic (TK) in the anchoring plane as well as two insulating layers made of rigid polystyrene foam on the sides that are enclosed by two PVC surface layers adapted to the white tone of the frame profile. The use of this special layer structure results in a force-locking connection with the frame, an outstanding thermal insulation as well as good sound insulation properties.
The frame extension is designed for optimum and quick installation thanks to its resilience and its low weight. Thanks to the profile-specific contour, the frame extension adapts seamlessly to the existing window or door profile and ensures the perfect transition between the profiles. Thermal insulation is thus achieved without the generation of an additional thermal bridge, e.g. due to a steel core.
The contoured mount guarantees quick and easy installation of the profile with the blaugelb Frame Screw Fix FK-T30 and precise positioning thanks to the contour cutting. This prevents the formation of a hollow chamber between the sill connection profile and the frame, and airtightness is achieved thanks to the process-safe sealing.
The product range is available in ready lengths of 1,500, 2,500 and 3,000 mm.
