blaugelb
Zinc Spray
The blaugelb Zinc Spray is a high-purity, heat and weather-resistant corrosion protection coating in a dark zinc colour.
It is used in skilled trade, window construction and all types of industrial enterprises in various sectors, e.g. for the new coating, priming and touching up of hot-dip galvanised new parts, vehicle parts, construction equipment, steel structures, on damaged zinc coatings, for coatings and priming of plants and metal parts that are exposed to the influences of water and weather, as corrosion protection following welding and assembly work.
The zinc portion in the dry film is over 93 %, with a degree of purity of the zinc of 99 %. The blaugelb Zinc Spray can thus be welded through with no problems. Zinc-coated parts can be easily coated and touched up in a matched colour. Iron and steel structures are protected over the long-term against rust and oxidation. The blaugelb Zinc Spray can be used as a conductive intermediate layer during spot welding (spot welding paint). The blaugelb Zinc Spray is also suitable as corrosion protection after welding, at drilling points or in the event of assembly damage. The blaugelb Zinc Spray offers twice the protective effect: The high-quality zinc film initially protects the substrate material and the resistant synthetic resin layer then forms an additional corrosion protection.
The blaugelb Zinc Spray is fast drying, weather-resistant and electrically conductive and it can be painted over. It rapidly forms a closed film of water-insoluble zinc oxide on the surface that has very good adhesion properties and is highly resistant to abrasion, dirt and water.
