Foil Basic Inside
The blaugelb Foil Basic Inside is a combination of a special plastic foil and a fleece backing. It is used for creating inside-facing connecting joints that are airtight and windtight.
The sealing sheet exhibits high expandability and tear strength, and can therefore very readily accommodate joint movements. It is quick and easy to fit to the window frame using a self-adhesive strip. The foil, inhibiting vapour diffusion, ensures effective separation of the indoor and outdoor climates and therefore meets the requirements of EnEV and of proper installation and sealing.
Thanks to its low inherent rigidity, the blaugelb Foil Basic Inside can be very easily worked and can also be applied without problems over angled constructions. The blaugelb Foil Basic Inside is watertight against driving rain up to 1,050 Pa and UV-resistant for up to 3 months. It is attached to the masonry with blaugelb Foil Adhesive.
The blaugelb Foil Basic Inside can be plastered, pasted and painted over on the fleece-backed side and can thus be installed completely hidden. The blaugelb Foil Basic Inside is thus the ideal sealing foil for the inner sealing of the connecting and expansion joints of windows and doors for restoration and new construction.
