blaugelb
All-weather foil
The blaugelb All-Weather Foil is a 1.5 mm-thick sealing sheet made of polymer-modified bitumen combined with a flexible, tear-resistant HDPE foil. It is fully cold self-adhesive and is used for airtight, windproof and watertight bonding of façade parts, for outer sealing of windows and doors, such as patio doors and full length windows, and for threshold sealing. The blaugelb All-Weather Foil is suitable for the waterproofing of elements in contact with soil in accordance with DIN 18533-1 and 18533-2, for waterproofing against ground moisture and non-pressing water in floor slabs and walls in contact with soil (Class W1.1-E), against ground moisture and non-pressing water in floor slabs and walls in contact with soil with drainage (Class W1.2-E), for waterproofing against capillary rising damp in and under walls, splash water and ground moisture at the wall base (Class W4-E) and as a water vapour barrier in the floor area under screeds, as well as for waterproofing balconies and walkways in accordance with DIN 18531-5.
The blaugelb All-Weather Foil exhibits outstanding adhesion on the standard construction substrates. For proper processing, the substrate is to be pretreated with the suitable blaugelb All-Weather Bitumen Primer (item no. 0433208, see corresponding technical data sheet). The blaugelb All-Weather Foil has a perforated masking paper for easier handling.
